Houndify Adds HERE Technologies Data for Voice-First Navigation

We are excited to announce a new partnership with HERE Technologies to add their voice-first navigation experience to our Houndify Voice AI platform. This partnership further expands Houndify’s robust capabilities by enabling drivers to apply real-world location data from HERE to their applications for an improved and safer driver experience. Drivers will be able to activate navigation by simply using their voice and talking naturally to their cars (for example, “How do I get to the Golden Gate Bridge?”).

Developers can now fast-track the development of their location-based apps. The integration will provide precise, real-time positional tracking and location history by leveraging HERE’s global map data and curated location content in combination with services such as search, routing, transit, and more. This is especially useful in cars, where a vehicle’s ability to understand its precise positioning, retain contextual awareness of the environment, and store knowledge of local road rules is crucial.

HERE provides mapping data on more than 200 countries for the newest Houndify domain. Watch this short video to learn more about how HERE Technologies enables the development of the new capabilities, insights, and operations for mobility providers.
